The Faculty of Applied Research and Clinical Practice, offers joint doctoral-level programmes with Middlesex University and offers counselling and psychotherapy research within the Metanoia Institute Research Centre.
The Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy by Professional Studies (DCPsych) is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
Candidates on our Doctorate in Psychotherapy by Professional Studies are fully-qualified mid-career professionals, who undertake practice-based research.
The Doctorate in Psychotherapy by Public Works, provides an opportunity for established experts in the psychological therapies, to undertake a thorough and reflexive audit of their existing and completed doctoral-level work.
