This two year part-time MA course was developed in consultation with ‘By The Bridge’ therapeutic fostering organisation. Offered one weekend a month for ten months of the year, the course provides an in-depth training for those working with children and young people who have been fostered and adopted. It offers foster parents and adopters a collaborative learning experience that develops knowledge and understanding of the inner world and social context of looked after children and young people and will explore how to work with many of the issues presented.
