We add research events regularly throughout the year.
Our research seminars are a series of events where staff and students present their research and engage in discussion and debate. These creative and lively events are free of charge and open to external visitors on request. The programme for 2017-2018 is:
Kathrin Godfrey-Djundja - 'Motherhood in the therapy room. An Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis of the experience of mother-therapists who work with mothers who grieve for their child.'
Maggie Shen - 'A discourse analysis of the identity of Chinese women who immigrated to the UK in adolescence.'
Stacey Miller - 'The Impact of Internet Exposure on the Therapeutic Relationship'
Sonia Avasthi - 'Therapists experiences of working with suicidal students in Higher Education.'
Denitsa Radeva-Petrova - 'Voices as equal as others: A narrative inquiry into the doctoral journey of psychologists and psychotherapists from authoritarian background'
