Systems Administrator & Developer (Moodle)
We are seeking a Systems Developer Administrator to provide a broad range of application development, maintain and improve current business solutions such as Moodle that serve Teaching and Learning, Student Management and Professional Services.
You will apply agile-oriented methodologies to develop existing and new solutions for business transformation solutions as well as contribute to the planning and delivery of development project sprints through design, development, integration and testing.
To be successful, you will have experience working as a developer on complex systems. You will have the ability to produce training materials, user guides and other technical documentation and will have knowledge of Moodle development (or another similar student VLE system). Experience of other systems such as WordPress, Adobe, Microsoft Teams and basic HTML knowledge would be beneficial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will see you perform well in this role, along with your ability to anticipate customer requirements and work collaboratively with the communications & Marketing Officer to achieve business needs.
You will be used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines as part of a team, but also alone. You must be a strong team player who is resourceful and able to work on your own initiative.
