Middlesex Graduation Ceremony - cancellation

Please see the announcement from Middlesex University that the July 2021 graduation ceremony will not be taking place. We recognise how disappointing this news will be, but it does seem to be reflected across the university sector.

Metanoia Institute remains hopeful that we shall be able to host our own event to mark the occasion of student graduation in 2021, but we await certainty on the regulations around permitted gatherings before making or announcing any firm arrangements.

Dear Student,

We've made the decision to postpone the Summer 2021 graduation ceremonies to protect your wellbeing and the wellbeing of your families and other guests. We believe that this is the right choice given the current situation and uncertainty around government guidance on large gatherings this summer.

The University will still dispatch degree certificates to all graduands and the postponement of graduation will not cause delays to the issuing of certificates. We'll also offer all graduands the opportunity to celebrate your achievements in the future when the position is clearer and it's safe to do so. We'll communicate more details around this in due course.

Best wishes, Middlesex University
