Application Process for Diploma /BA in PC Counselling
Step 1: Book on to an Introductory Workshop by submitting a course application form and payment
Step 2: Fully complete Metanoia Institute’s course application form with Personal Statement ensuring that it is accompanied with the following supporting documents:
- A full CV;
- Two(2) references, one(1) academic and one(1) personal;
- Two(2) passport sized photographs.
Step 3: Your application will be read by core members of the PC tutor team including the Faculty Head, Programme Leader and/ or Primary tutors. The member of staff who delivers the Introductory Course, which constitutes a key requirement of the application process, will also conduct individual or group interviews to all applicants wishing to progress their application after attending the Introductory workshop. Following this process, you will then be contacted by the Academic Co-ordinator who will inform you of the success of your application and outline ways to enroll onto the course if appropriate.
Step 4: Once you have submitted the above and you have completed the Introductory Weekend you will be considered for a final assessment interview.
Please note: The process applies to both Diploma and BA (Hons) applications. We cannot process your paper application if there are no references, or if other required pieces are not included. Therefore do make sure that a full application is submitted in order for us to process your application as quickly as possible.

Please note that the Diploma is BACP validated and the BA course is validated by Middlesex University.
