At Metanoia we have successfully moved all of our training online and have been asked by BACP to share our experience of making this transition successfully and provide support to colleagues across the professional counselling training community in preparing to make this adaptation too.

From BACPs website:-

The Coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact on counselling practitioner training, resulting in a need for trainers to quickly adapt to delivering teaching via online platforms. As trainers plan for the new autumn term, the potential prospect of delivering all aspects of practitioner training online is for many, a daunting one.

In this free online event for members, we aim to support trainers to develop their skills in delivering the various elements of practitioner training in ways that are engaging and supportive to students.

Join Peter Pearce, Lorraine Munro and Kate Anthony as they discuss and share techniques for teaching and supporting students via digital platforms. They'll identify key areas to consider and will engage with the potentiality and pitfalls of teaching through digital platforms.

Key dates

Watch live from 10am to 12.30pm on Wednesday 08 July 2020, where you'll be able to network with other practitioners via a chatroom and submit questions to our panel.

You'll also have access to an on-demand service from Thursday 09 July 2020, so you can catch up on anything you miss. Please note, your confirmation email will include an 'end date' of this service in August, but we'd like to reassure you that the resource will be available for as long as needed during this period.
